Last Post Before A New Blog?

Hmm... I've been away from this blog for months because I've been so empty in my life other than study, study and study! Days had been pretty miserable for me. I had been made psychologically tired thanks to all those assignments. It made me feel really bad when there are somebody who feel reluctant to contribute in any way to group assignments. Not because of the extra workload I needed to do, but because they give up the knowledge that can be gained from assignments. I always think that assignment is a more practical way to learn rather than those rigid examinations whereby the knowledge learnt from there is always more or less outdated.

Currently I am preparing for my finals, but not much deal here really. Financial Statement Analysis is supposed to be the subject that can revised with shortest time. Reading more FSA notes won't help seriously. It's about how you interpret and this should be trained by doing past year papers. Still reading notes? Think again.

There are two massive memorising subjects namely Business Law and Introduction to Risk Management and Insurance. Well, quite bored to memorise and not much capacity left for storing numerous terms as well. I'm not planning to read much but I'll do past years more for Business Law. Write stores memory faster and longer than read.

Macroeconomics isn't supposed to be hard for AS students. Those who struggle you should really consider whether you should stay in AS course or not. Bear in mind that all the while you will be dealing with finance and economics in actuarial field apart from complicated mathematics.

Thankfully Critical Reading and Thinking doesn't require much reading. This is the same for Loss Models (not in any means to insult others).

I am looking forward to rejuvenate in the next coming semester.

First and foremost, I'll register for my SOA FM examination for the coming December. A good time in fact as I'm only having two subjects next sem with Moral - which doesn't affect CGPA and only shows pass/fail on the result slip - and Sociology - which in no way is a core subject of AS - on hand. Furthermore I'll only have three study days, which gives me ample of time to prepare for the exam. I like SOA exam more than UTAR exam anyway. Computerized, objective, great exam environment, challenging... the only downside is the fee.

Secondly, I'll try to get a job. Tuition teacher is what I am aiming for. Maybe I'll try to get a December PC Fair job as well. And I'll try to sell shoes thanks to the opportunity that Wai Kit found. I'll try my best to get at least RM1k.

Thirdly, I'll want to spent more time on leisure. I had been disappeared from basketball court for months due to laziness. I had not went for karaoke for a long time. I had not take any photo for months! I want to do all these as much as I can in this coming months.

My birthday is coming very soon but I guess I'll go through it alone again as UTAR never fails to spoil my birthday and holiday.

I've been socially empty for months. Not really a good female friend since foundation, let alone a girlfriend. I feel motivateless for that. Is there any girl that have the ability to bring the best out of me? I doubt that now. Unless somehow I get to know Jolin. Soooo impossible.

This should be my last blog post for this blog. I will open a new one. MYXVIII - Min Yang, 18; now I'm almost 20!

无可否认，我是一个非常欣赏德国足球的人。

德国人那顽强的斗志和激情总是深深地感染了我。

刚刚德国对英国的超级大比拼，两国队员不单只是为荣誉而战，更是为了两国足球和二战时期的恩恩怨怨而战。可想而知这会是一场多么精彩的比赛呀！

事实上他们两队那么早相遇实在可惜，应为实在太精彩了！

英格兰糟糕透顶的防守让日耳曼当家射脚克洛斯打入了第一球。而不久之后，白衣军团大公无私的配合让波多尔斯基打入了漂亮的第二球。

落后两球的英军当然不甘示弱。丢球罪人之一厄普申为三狮军团扳回一城，而兰帕德更是用自由球把皮球透过门楣第二次射入德国的大门。

可是很可惜，裁判并没看到这进球。所以2-1这个比分带到了下半场。

来到了下半场后，德国完全掌控了战局。两个漂亮的反击让穆勒梅开二度！当中兰帕德又有一次射门击中门柱！4-1，德国完胜英国，让后者耻辱性地出局……

无可否认，英军的确运气不足，但是，与德国相比，他们配进八强吗？我的答案？问我一千次都是不！

德国团队配合一流。英国？一堆各自为政的攻击群。

德国速度快，反击犀利。英国？人家都四、五人反击到他们的禁区了，他们的后防才姗姗来迟地赶上。

德国队虽然防守略嫌不稳，不过盯人方面还是算蛮杰出的。英国？竟然离谱到让对方在自己的半场玩一个传球大龙凤！

如果让英格兰晋级就真的让我痛心了！这样世界杯就会多一场乏味的球赛！

对我来说卡佩罗根本就是个昏帅！放出兰帕德、杰拉德、鲁尼、迪福这些需要他人做球的攻击手，却没派多少人去喂他们好球，简直就是一场灾难！

许多传球高超的边锋如贝尔和阿什利杨恩甚至连二十三人大名单都不入！在贝克汉姆因伤缺席的情况下，这根本就是一个灾难性的决定！这位意大利名帅简直输得狗屎一般！

看看德国，年轻、速度快、有够团结。他们个个带着十八般武艺进攻，可不像英格兰的当家球星般拼死拼命的尝试表演个人秀，一点创造力都没有。

我不得不佩服德国足球进步的速度，要知道他们23人大名单里可是清一色来自德国联赛啊！

看来英超有必要向德首取经了，不然英式足球只会裹足不前。呜呼哀哉……

顺道一提，英格兰的球迷，别再被媒体骗倒了，英格兰的“强”可是被媒体吹棒而来的。

Final Fantasy IX. EPIC.

Computer games, pathetically, are often discouraged by the older generations as they often think that they bring negative impact to the souls of youths.

In fact, have you ever thought that a game can actually shape the mind of the younger generations to a better one?

Especially the genre of RPG (not MMORPG definitely). A good storyline, added with numerous of striking conflicts and dilemmas, perfected with the superbly fitted soundtracks, that's capable of changing the life of people who play it forever.

What have you heard from the song above? Maybe not that clear for those who had never played Final Fantasy IX, Square's last installments on the old PS One. Well, it's such a wonderful mix of feelings for me. A tune of deepest sorrow and despair, but even at such helpless moments, you can still listen the existence of hope from this song. Never expected so much of emotions out from this rather simple song don't you?

"To be forgotten is worse than death." Does it reminisce your feelings? And it's one of the golden quotes in the game itself!

And that's Final Fantasy IX. Pretty much underrated due to the release of Final Fantasy X on PS Two which happened to be just month after it. But in my opinion, it's the best of all and after so many years, it's still such a wonderful game to be replayed.

Ask me ten most important things that changes my life, and Final Fantasy will definitely be one of it. Mark my word.

友感而发

终于考完大考了！这也代表着这个令人无心向学的学期终于结束。而考完试当然就要大势庆祝一番哪，所以昨晚就跟了KK， Stanley和那个还在奋斗中的YY去了Pasar Malam。其实呀我们都是YY的陪跑份子而已，他到那可是为了他的dar～可那夜市可一点也不好逛啊，人挤人，挤死人……

很快地我们就回了，也没走到什么。其实玩lami才是那天的主菜。由于YY今天还要为明天而战，所以也不能玩得太夜。而期间他也不断在念三字经，埋怨着他为什么酱迟考完…… 今天手感还慢不错，赢了不少，哈哈。

然后我们就离开了YY家，去了嘛嘛档。由于Kent去了WK的家过夜，所以他们两人过后也来join我们了。就这样，谈啊谈，吹啊吹，从Europa League决赛还没开始谈到加时赛结束都还在谈。应该也是第一次坐mamak坐这么久吧，真爽。

当中我们就谈了很多，谈了很多中学时期和foundation时的所有乐事：谈到我们是怎样ponteng，谈到我们中学是的种种愚蠢和不成熟，谈到foundation走在一起的时光，也谈到了我们在爱情的种种挫折与失败（毕竟我们可不是YY这种情圣）……

就这样谈着谈着，让我觉得有这些好朋友是多么幸福的事。

如果不是认识了你们，我想我现在应该还是一个糟透了的烂人。

感激拥有像伟杰这样有志气的将才，见到他就好像庞统遇见诸葛亮般惺惺相惜；

感激拥有像Wai Ming这种吹水狂，看到他就好像看见戏剧般的无限欢乐；

感激拥有像Jesh和Wai Ming这样无所不谈的家伙，可以谈天谈地多畅快；

感激拥有像KK和Stanley这种可以谈心的对象，跟你们在一起可以无忧无虑的说出自己的心底话；

感激拥有像Joyce那帮重情义的朋友，让我学会怎样为朋友付出；

感激拥有像YY这种可以改变别人人生的超级好友，让我有内而外都有着明显的进步。你成为了众人之中的恒星也是理所当然啊！(Tracy嫂你可要好好珍惜哦～）

最后也要感激那位让我那么迷恋的“朋友”，提供了我无限的动力。我是不会轻言放弃的。

当然还有很多绿叶型的好友，虽然你们没那么起眼，可重要性也不小呀！

总之，谢谢你们让我成长，我会一天比一天更好！

Exam Update

Hmph... Speechless in overall, so let's just go into specific subjects...

Basic Professional Writing - Just writing. Nothing special. 5%A, 70%A-, 20%B+, 5% lower than that.

Theory of Interest - Did quite well... On the A/A- fence perhaps. 40%A, 55%A-, 5% lower than that.

Prob & Stat II - Much easier than tests. However, the workings are still to tedious. Lack of time. 5%B+, 45%B, 45%B-, 5% lower than that (bad grade due to bad coursework).

Linear Algebra - Well, quite ok, but I think it's not enough to get an A. 15%A, 75%A-, 10% lower than that.

Intermediate Calculus - Guess what? I only need 67/100 on my final paper to get an A, and I can guarantee at least 70 marks secured. 80%A, 15%A-, 5% lower than that (unless the grading has been readjusted).

Business Accounting - I think I can predict that already. Account should not be a problem for those who took SPM accounting. 85%A, 10%A-, 5% lower than that (hope so).

I've been blanking for quite an amount of questions for this finals. Too bad. =(

But one thing that I've been proud of is my stress management ability. I brought nothing about study into my slumberland~ Keke...

Pre-Finals

I was quite amused of my performance this semester.

First and foremost, I have my Prob and Stats coursework marks scored less than half of full marks. Just couldn't believe how this subject could take me down.

Secondly, my Linear Algebra's quiz actually got 8/25. This is kind of unacceptable as the subject is easy to understand. Fortunately I didn't make too much of mistakes for my test 1 and test 2.

Thirdly, as opposed to most, Theory of Interest doesn't seem too hard for me. At least for me it's easier than Prob and Stats. Again, it was a big failure in test 1 but the deficit was recovered due to the easiness of test 2.

Fourthly, Calculus became a big surprise due for me as my coursework marks is near to full. The first test was leniently treated so I got full marks despite scoring only 33/40. The quiz is better than expected, and test 2 is ridiculously easy for a university's standard. It's really speechless as literally the time I spent (and perhaps most of us) is just too little for this subject due to the inability of lecturer to deliver the knowledge to most of us.

The rest? Well, nothing special, so they will not really leave me an unforgettable memory.

And somehow I just couldn't push myself to study even though I have a SOA test 3 weeks after the finals.

Unknowingly dropped my ID card today. Thanks to the lovely couple Ashley and Sunny for discovering and informing me. ^^
Tried out Caltex Ron95 today. Silent! Even my air-cond sounds louder than the engine. Virtually almost no difference when before and after start or off engine.
Saw KK for four times already yesterday and today in the campus. I've only seen him once last week. LOL.
Learning 4-player mahjong. So interesting! Let's play buddies! Hahahahahahaha!

The true challenges of actuarial science started as the questions are much more logically stimulating. It gives me motivation to do the tutorials. =]
I found out that my English writing skills had leapfrogged so far as compared to the time before I joined university. =)
Finally clicked the cash out button of Nuffnang. RM52.90 is going to reach my home in about a month. =D

For three days I ended up my day in terrible mood. Seriously need some EQ training.

Hope that I won't repeat it again tomorrow.

Anyway, Theory of Interest is awesomely nice in three ways:

It's the first subject of actuarial science which differentiates the actuarial field from the rest of mathematics.
It's the subject which differentiates the true actuarial students from science students who get into actuarial field because of the bright future. Honestly and cruelly, I don't think one should pick up actuarial science to study if he/she only know physics, biology and chemistry and doesn't know accounting, economics, finance and commerce and isn't interested to study about the latter.
It deals with money, which I needs and loves so much.

I know I'll offend a lot of actuarial students, but this is the pure fact. You can't excel in actuarial field with just awesome science knowledge and magnificent mathematics. Go and foster up your business knowledge, please.

Malacca Trip Day 3

The final day of our very memorable Malacca trip begun with a breakfast at Chop Chung Kee after checking out from hotel. Sze Le didn't follow us today anyway as she had other things to busy with.

The rice is very aromatic which I think it has even better scent than KFC's chicken rice. As for the chicken, it's between the level of normal and magnificent.

After the satisfying meal, we decided to chose the Stadhuys as our next destination since it was within walking distance. A lot of camwhores, again.

Our Malacca trip wouldn't be complete if we didn't eat any traditional cendol Melaka with gula melaka. So we went to the famous Tan Kim Hock outlet which sells a lot of local Malacca delicacies like dodol and cendol. Before that let's meet the boss of Tan Kim Hock which is Tan Kim Hock himself:

He's actually Koon Wai Ming.

We ordered cendol there. Surprisingly, only KK and me ordered cendol durian actually while the rest ordered cendol kelapa which is RM2 cheaper than the RM5 cendol durian. However, I think would quite regret with their decision as KK and me enjoyed so much for the strong aroma and taste of the finest quality of durian paste. Hehe.

Time was surely running fast as we departed after the cendol feast and reached KL about 4pm. What a wonderful time I had with you guys and girls! I'll surely wanna hang out with you all again! Thank you for the memories! =)

Sitting like this is just so ugly...

It took us approximately about three and a quarter of hours under the sun of intense heat before we finished the shooting. And we would actually continued even longer if not the batteries were out. As it was the time for dinner already, this time we visited for Capitol Satay Celop which we were unable to enjoy yesterday. Well, slightly better than McQuek's in my opinion and a pretty enjoyable meal as well after some tiring work. Unfortunately, all of the camera's batteries were being charged so no photos captured here. Lol.

As Malacca is a city with so little of night life we decided to just stay in the hotel after that. We were moved to a themed suite anyway. We played cards, joked and of course, camwhored as usual. Pictures of the night:

Malacca Trip Day 2 Part 1

*Ahem* And now let me proudly present to you day two of our fabulous Malacca trip. We woke up relatively quite early that day and were quite delighted with the breakfast that the hotel provided to us.

Ramen!

The ramen is just so tasty which surprised us a lot. What a nice one. After the breakfast we decided to have some camwhore sessions in the hotel room as we were going to stay in another room with special theme that night. Let's just see some of them:

Then we went to fetch Sze Le before we went to our first destination of the day: Porta de Santiago (A'Famosa) and St Paul's Church. It's never a Malacca trip if you didn't leave your footsteps there. Here I think the pictures will say more than words so I guess I'll just save the typing:

Malacca Trip Day 1

After weeks of planning and recruiting, finally we managed to go for our sem break trip! The destination was what stated at the title - MA-LAC-CA! Why this historical city? It's simple - cheap and delicious FOOD! Yummy!

Before that we actually planned for a one day trip, but after some serious consideration, we decided to change it to a three days two nights stay to visit to every corner of the city flourished with historical value. Besides that, we also planned for a very special event.

We departed from Sungai Long at time about 2pm and departed approximately two hours after that. Our first stop? We scouted the area which we would make photo shootings for advertisement - Hotel de Lisbon. It is a newly established hotel and is situated by the seaside of Portuguese settlement. Here are the scout reports:

This wasn't that nice. I hope that the management will fix it.

In case you still don't know, Warren's elder brother is actually the owner of the hotel and that's why we got the opportunity to take the job.

After some preliminary investigation, we went for our first dinner in Malacca... and it's the famous Satay Celup! We planned to go for the most popular Capitol Satay Celop at Jonker's Street at first but since it's closed that day unfortunately, we simply chose another, which was McQuek's.

Guess what? Coincidently we saw Sze Le who is enjoying her semester break at home town during our journey to McQuek's and so we invited her to join us for a meal. The satay celup is 55 cents per stick which is quite expensive. The satay sauce is rather ordinary anyway.

The next thing we did? Carmen thought that it would be nice to visit to the local shopping mall so we went to Dataran Pahlawan Megamall and Mahkota Parade, which are located just opposite to each other. And guess what? Right on the Dataran Pahlawan where Tunku Abdul Rahman firstly declared our nation's independence we saw this:

Lucky us. It's so beautiful floating up in the night sky. BIG lantern haha. It was a promotional event anyway. We went inside the mall to walk around and enjoyed some tarts sold in an outlet. The two malls are so tiny compared to Mid Valley. LOL.

After that we went back to the hotel and had a nice night talk before continued our journey on the next day...

The Time Travellers Wife

Do you think that to be able to travel across time is an awesome power? But what if you couldn't control it?

This is the situation that happens to the man in the movie "The Time Travellers Wife". Well, this movie is already four months old, and I only happened to see it recently.

For your information, it's not really those lame time machine type of story. The male main cast, Eric Bana who starred as Henry De Tamble, is disrupted by some type of genetic impairment which causes him to travel across time out of his control. And the bad thing is, everytime he travels his clothes doesn't, and he has to learn all the basic thievery skills in order to break into others' house to dress himself. This is really unique.

Because of this, he suffers. He has to see the death of his mother over and over again, his wife miscarriage for several times as the foetus also receives the genetic impairment and travels across the time, he has to foresee his death yet unable to do anything, he is unable to stay with his loved ones when they need him and he has to isolate himself as he is just too weird.

But the good thing is, he met with his true love, Clare Abshire (cast by Rachel McAdams). At his older age, he travels back to his wife's childhood to expose himself to her for the first time, which in turn Clare exposed herself to him when he was younger. It's kind of like the egg and chicken question don't you think?

And after gone through so many obstacles, they are still able to born their child Alba, which possesses a better version of chrono-impairment gene. Sometimes their daughter can deny the time travel, which can reduce a lot of pains due to this unwanted disease.

By the way, the way he dies really pissed me off. He is actually killed by his father-in-law during time travel. WTH. T.T

I really like this movie, as the storyline is unique, everything is seemed to be destined and Rachel McAdams has acted out the character so lively. It wets my eyes, but of course no tears dropped. =P

I think it's quite interesting to share my favourite songs over the past year with you, so, here you are!

10) T-Shirt by Shontelle

I clearly remembered how frequent did I hear this song on One FM yet unable to catch any information about the song. It almost took me for about a month to find this song eventually. The tune is great, but it just couldn't rise up any higher in my list as the lyrics aren't that bombastic or poetic.

9) 心动 by Shino 林晓培

Accidentally found this old song (not to be termed an oldies yet) which I had heard long time ago when I still didn't have any idea to taste music notes. It's very touching, synchronising with some sort of "can't help" feeling with I strongly sense.

8) 如果我变成回忆 by Tank

This song has great tunes and damn powerful lyrics which lures out the saddest feelings beneath you. However, it's just another similar Tank's production which I don't find any surprises from it.

7) Takin' Back My Love by Enrique Iglesias ft Ciara

The type of powerful songs with strong beats coupled with strong and direct style of delivery. The con is, this song is so not my style. =P

6) Kiss Me Now by Danson 唐禹哲

Firstly, I like Danson because he's a Virgo - same as me. Secondly, this song just reflects my desperation for a relationship. With the right one, of course.

5) Gotta Be Somebody by Nickelback

This song is very inspirational in terms of lyrics, and the power of the song is just nice. Ranked higher because of its motivational value.

4) Donna Famosa by Fabri Fibra

Just as I told days before, something very unique. The opening is spectacular, the rapping is just nice. I just like it even though I couldn't understand the meaning at first.

3) Love of Iris by Shin Seung Hoon

A Korean song which I had just posted in less than two weeks. Another song with the "can't help" feeling. Well, I always experience this type of feeling. =(

2) Smooth Criminal by Michael Jackson

No, it's not that I'll feel guilty if I didn't post up his song here; no, it's not because I respect him for his status as King of Pop. Yes, because this song and he deserve it! A very rhythmic song. And the dance is just unbelievable. Maybe a little bit bias as the MV is evaluated too. =P

1) 我的回忆不是我的 by Vincy 泳儿 and 海明威

Vincy always gives me a great voice which echo with my feelings and once again she fortifies her pole position in my list of top female artists. A great combination with Hermingway (not the writer). And yea, Vincy possesses the type of aura which I love so much.

2010 Resolutions V2

Just listened a tip from radio today about making resolutions so I'll make a little bit alterations about mine which had been constructed at last post:

Earn RM3k in this year or I'll bankrupt soon,
Improve the visitors count of Fantasy Premier League Zone or I'll not gain much money,
Own either a new laptop or desktop or PS3 or I'll continue frustrating with my current computer which its hardware just doesn't serve well in gaming anymore,
Fight for a GPA of 4.0 in the next two long semesters and get into the president's list or I'll drop away further from the AS students' leaderboard,
Complete at least one SOA paper or I'll find it harder to do it later,
Become more muscular or I'll look weak,
Be more able to control my temper in front of my family or our relationship will become worse,
Find a good girlfriend or I'll still be lonely for this whole year.

That's it. Should be more effective. =)

I think I should print this out and paste it in my bedroom so that I'll always remember these resolutions. The continuous reminding of bad outcome if they are not completed should give me more determination to achieve them. Haha.

Welcome Twenty Ten!

2009 had been a history and now it's 2010 aka twenty ten!!!

Well certainly I don't what does new year mean to you but for me, it's a symbolic day where I can flush away all the unhappy stuffs during the last year and restart, replenish and re-energize myself in a very positive way (just like when you continue a game after game over).

I think it's very positive to construct a list of ~~aims~~ resolutions for 2010 so I'll list it down here:

Earn RM3k in this year,
Improve the visitors count of Fantasy Premier League Zone,
Own either a new laptop or PS3 or desktop,
Fight for a GPA of 4.0 in the next two long semesters and maintain in the president's list,
Complete at least one SOA paper,
Become more muscular,
Have better skin,
Be more able to control my temper in front of my family,
*To be filled in*

Let's see how many aims will be completed in 31st December 2010. Till then, see you in the next post. ^^

Last Post of the Year

Uhm... Let's end the blog of 2009 with events about me at this very last day of the year.

At morning, during the journey I fetched my sis to work, KF gave me a call to ask me to go hot spring. Well, I declined the day before as they said they would depart on nine, which I would definitely couldn't make it as I had to fetch my sis around 10. But it happened that they departed later than what they planned to. So, ON!

It's about 20+ kilometres before we finally reached that hot spring. Out of our surprise (WK, KF, Keith and me), it isn't really somewhere looked like a hot spring. It was actually an enclosed space hidden behind a school of a Malay kampung so you are a genius if you can find it without any guidance. And yea, it's a man made pool with the springs channelled from the river, for your information, which is again much much out of our imagination... uhm, mine, at least.

It might looked like a "noob" spring, but don't judge a book by its cover. The sulphured water is boiling hot! Even my feet which are the parts of my body with the most dead skins couldn't held on for the intense heat for a longer time at the beginning. It's like BBQ-ing-your-skin type of pain.

Of course, after some time our legs are used to the heat and so it's time for the body. Wai Kit kept entertaining us by letting us to splash those boiling springs on his body with him releasing the scream of pain (exaggerated version) continuously in a very horny style. Lol. We all took turns splashing each other after that to enjoy the ~~torturing~~ healing powers of the spring.

We changed our clothes not long after that and went to Poon Kee at Mahkota to enjoy the desserts before going home.

Whereas during night, we went to Mahkota's Look Out Point again. Speechlessly, the same menu with the one at the main Look Out Point. The drinks costed RM5 only here and were much larger than the one at the main branch...

It's a song I found interesting from the game FIFA 10. Uhm... the moment when I found the artist's name... well, Fabri Fibra... weird I suppose? Fabri Fibra is a famous Italian rapper anyway.

The song arouses a very special emotion out from me. Indescribable, but in general it keeps my spirit high. A very special tune.

ZERO NINE

It's the last day of 2009 and in approximately 10 and a quarter of hours all of us will have to welcome the last year of the first decade of the second millennium AD. Well, let's just share with you guys what happened to me this year...

January was quite a sad month due to the death of my grandpa just days before Chinese New Year. The festival was filled with glooms and glooms but nevertheless, it managed to tighten up the family bonds of us.

In April I made a drama with my group members to fulfil our assignment. Well it was a very great process and we had managed to give quite a spectacular performance. It was also my first time working with Windows Movie Maker to make a pretty cool opening. YY, Warren, HH, Koon Wayne! It's very fun to work with you all! ^.^

On May I went to Genting and stayed overnight with friends. Well, it's just another thrill at theme park... but the existence of buddies really made a big difference! I tried solero for the first time anyway and hell, my whole body shivers!

On June I went to a seminar about investing at stock market, but nothing much learned... And I don't have the capital to invest as well. =.=

On July I went to Bon Odori aka the Ghost Festival a la Japanese style. Well, quite interesting to try on their culture dance and looking on the cute kimonos. Thanks Ro-Ba-To San (my Japanese lecturer) for the recommendation and all the friends who took me there!

The next day I went to Jog For Hope after being suggested by Chloe de Clowbaby aka the cute tiny junior from my high school. She had graduated though. Unfortunately, this junior vanished from the scene after successfully tricking me for doing the charity and hence I ended up going with Wai Kit only. =p And more unfortunately, Wai Kit overslept at that day and so we reached very late. The consequences were we failed to obtain the really cool t-shirt and we got stared by people who nearly reached the finishing line when we had just started. Still it's always great to do something for charity. =)

On July I had also set up a blog about a famous browser game of football - fantasy premier league. I try to identify good players and give my tips to others (although I'm not really great about it) and I am very happy to see such a good response from readers after months setting up the site. It had gave me quite a good amount of income as well. =)

On September I had yet again celebrated my birthday alone due to the screwed schedule of UTAR - the study week before finals are always fall on the week of my birthday. This time I ate a cake during my birthday which I had long omitted to do during my birthday. Albeit it's alone, still I feel better doing this. =)

On October I ate at Tenji with friends for the very first time. The restaurant is classy in decor, although the food variety is certainly absent. A four star from me.

The day after the meal at Tenji I went for a Penang trip, more precisely, a food hunting trip. Unfortunately, it was the same gang like the Genting Trip again (I don't mean that I'm bored with you guys ok?). We ate for maybe around five meals daily during the trip to try out all the delicious stuffs there. Thanks for Hock Heng and his family and also his girlfriend for their courtesy. Haha.

On October I joined eTiQa Takaful and worked at their counter booth once during November. Well, the experience is very valuable but not the reward. Nonetheless, it helped me to join Allianz Insurance.

On December I played Sky Trex with my degree close mates and it was an unforgettable experience. I also joined Allianz this month and was involved in selling party sprays in such an exciting way during Christmas Eve.

Finally, thanks to all who make my life a true life; sorry to all whom I have offended. I wouldn't have grown up without you guys and girls. 2009 certainly wasn't the best for me but it will definitely served a strong platform for me to leap to greater heights in my life. Goodbye zero nine!

今天，去了派对以后，突然觉得对自己的认知更加糊涂了。

我到底还对她有兴趣，还是纯粹想保留我人生中的目标？

想着想着，斗志就慢慢的消失了…… 我对自己非常迷茫。

我究竟想要什么？我好乱，真的好乱。

从来没试过。

不过这个派对，还是有意外收获的。是什么就不讲咯！

看来我必须重新认识自己。我，丧失了自我。

Compacted Week

This is unarguably the most compacted sem break I have ever had.

Right after my last paper of my final exam, I went to sing at Greenbox with Tok, Pei Wen, YY and Kah Fai. It was great after all to finally have a chance to sing those new songs especially when there's a female to sing those duet hits.

Just moments of rest after the tiring and fun singing and that night, I was on for a movie with similar gangs again. It was the great movie Avatar~ A lot of uniqueness I have found in that movie and the theme was superbly strong - nature. And it's kind of funny for being late for it and hence pretty confused about the connection between the human and the avatar.

Due to extreme tiredness, I decided to stay overnight at YY's house directly after the movie and slept till the noon of next day. Then we played the most favourite sports game on PS3, FIFA 10. We played tournament mode and got knocked out together at the round of 16. Lots of fun~

Wednesday aka the next day I woke up at 8 as I was going to join others for a futsal game at the Challenger (the one that you can see beside the RM1 toll). Stanley as expected, was dominating the game, while Jun Kit was the unlucky one to get one cannon shot from Stanley onto his abdomen and another collision with Stanley to get into a whole day of dizziness. Lol. Again, I went to YY house to play FIFA again. It's lonely at home~

Thursday was yet again a fun day. I went to Jusco with my family and got two jeans, a box of masks and a scrub, which was equivalent to great losses of cash from my mum's wallet. Hahaha. Then I went for a Christmas Eve job at night to sell sprays at Sunway. Unfortunately, cops simply don't allow it so my tauke led us to sell sneakily through a variety of fun ways such as roaming around the restaurants to sell instead of the gathering point for countdown and selling in small bags as if we were the ones who buy the spray instead of sell. My boss was a generous one as even though he incurred some amount of losses due to strict monitoring of the police, he still gave us additional bonuses as we helped him to pack the unsold spray during midnight. For me it's like doing so little so get my salary. Lol. Only managed to slept at 4.30am that day anyway.

Christmas Day was quite terrible as we watched Jay Chou's movie - Treasure Hunter. Blurry themes, unimpressive actions, dull storyline, cheap CGs... Only Eric Tsang was shining throughout the movie. A fail for that movie. That night we went for somewhere famous between Ampang and Hulu Langat (I hope you know where) for a dinner at a restaurant only to know that they have a "special" menu which only provide luxurious choices. Even the cheapest one costed RM30 exclusive of 10% service charge. What a fraudulent business strategy. =( The night was yet spent at YY's house again to play. I had gone there so frequently this week even the guard recognises me already. Lol.

Today, I am going for another party. See? It's compact. Haha.

Guess what? This semester's final was just so free that my mates and I could actually sandwich a trip between the only two examinations we took! Well, Taman Pertanian Malaysia which had given me one of the best memories in my life was the venue again but this time, the activity was much different - SkyTrex Adventure!

So what is SkyTrex all about? Basically it is a series of thrilling activities up high from the ground such as flying fox, zigzag bridge etc. And you know what? It actually reach the height of 17 metres at the highest point! How high is 17 metres? Just climb to fourth or fifth floor and look to the ground and you will know. But don't worry, there's safety gear. =)

Since we were going at weekdays, there is a requirement in which we will need to have 25 people to book. Surprisingly, Joyce was able to recruit for 33 people! That morning, we travelled to PJ UTAR to meet with others first.

We reached at sometime around ten if not mistaken and waited for others before we entered Taman Pertanian Malaysia. I was quite disappointed with the fee as we were required to pay RM3 entrance fee for TPM and then only pay RM35 for SkyTrex. A very cunning strategy.

After much wait, we were given some briefing and trainings with those testing platforms which include a flying fox, a bridge and a rope swing. Here's a cool shot of me...

And yea, thanks for the guide Tjun (if not mistaken) for his humorous briefing. After much try on those easy as a pie challenges, it's time for real! The first time we actually had to do were to climb as high as this! See it below:

The challenges took me approximately 60 minutes (actually I didn't really know) and when we were back to the ground, there's still some that were yet to start their thrill. And guess what? I actually saw one of the 8TV celebrity, Qushairi here videoing for a programme which I don't know. Not tempted to get a photo with him though. Half of the finished gang including me then headed to the Four Seasons House thanks to the courtesy of one abang there who drove us there with a Hilux.

Another 3 ringgit for entering the house and yea, it was winter again just the same as last time I went. Freezing~ And guess what? I actually landed my bare feet onto the ground and the cold receptors on my feet transmitted pain to my brain neurons. =X

Next we returned to the entrance of TPM and waited for the rest which we left just now to regroup with us again. And next, we said bye to TPM and developed a formation of cars at the entrance:

That's how big a gang of 33 was. We headed to Klang then in search of Bak Kut Teh, which was an utter failure as the best BKT restaurants in Klang operate at morning hours. Still, we were able to find a Bak Kut Teh restaurant. But yea, it's never really special about it...

...except for this photo. Haha. It's already late evening after the meal and we got into the journey home with such a huge rain. Never like to drive in such circumstances. =(

A fun day after all! I will definitely go for that again next time with increased difficulty! =)

Came into the facebook post above surprisingly, and heck, he's doing something which I admire a lot. He's planning to fly to LA to get back his ex and guess what? It costs RM7k just to get the return ticket!

I think most of you may say "Oh, he's so stupid!" or "Ridiculous!" or "Is he crazy?" bla bla bla... Well at least he's pursuing something he want with some great courage which a lot of people simply don't own, including me.

Personally I strongly agree with my chubby buddy, Mr CxC Michael Keith Aw Wai Kit's quote "to gain success, one must get crazy". And the guy above is simply applying the formula.

If I can just stop thinking of failure like him, I am a legend already now.

She still looks so young and innocent with her age.

The end of the red hot Hong Kong drama "Beyond the Realm of Conscience" aka "Gung Sum Gai" wasn't scheduled at a good time for me as now is the time where I will go through the most free study week in my lifetime with only two subjects to go which another week of break is sandwiched between them! Because of that, I decided to do a massive d_w__o_d to watch the latest Korean drama IRIS due to the influence of papers and friends.

So far only gone through the first episode of it, but really, the beauty of Kim Tae Hee made a perfect opener to grab the attention of drama freaks! Should be an exciting drama as it is about spies and assassins.

What an experience.

Several weeks ago, I had worked at a eTiQa counter just outside of the cashier counter at Giant. As I am inexperienced, this booth which only required RM100++ of rental is a very good place for me to learn. Well, Giant Bandar Kinrara is quite a weird Giant due to its high degree of translucence architecture.

For your information, Wei Kian worked with me as he was tricked by our upline just like me. LOL. I was quite surprised actually to see Warren working inside at Giant. Due to our freedom in working, whenever Warren was break we accompanied him to eat. =)

One controversial thing was risen from my two days of work. I actually managed to draw the attention of a customer but due to my amateurism, she actually felt confused with my presentation and hence wanted the others to explain. She left and back, and my experienced colleague (or maybe not) had successfully secured five units from her! In normal circumstances, the units should belonged to me, but due to the customer's dislike towards me plus come other unfavourable factors, those five units were awarded to her (the one who presented). Of course she deserved it due to her professionalism in selling, but I just don't feel good with it. Can't she just give me some consolation like paying my counter fees? If I wasn't there, she wouldn't come back and listen... Thousands of ringgits gone zzz...

The two days work session ended unitless as what I expected. But the money paid came with such a great lesson that I felt worth it. Techniques of sales + 宫心计 + Never work without your upline. An unforgettable experience.

Cheap, Elegant and Spacious.

Huhu! After several months of waiting, finally the exchange voucher arrived and a new car reached my home! It's a cheap yet comfortable Saga SE!

For your information, my driving experience since I got my driver's license is kind of weird compared to others. I don't have any extra car at my home other than my father who's working so I didn't have much chance of driving in the first year. In fact, the first car that I drove regularly was Yoong Yang's Myvi as we went to UTAR together. XD

Then after the end of my foundation, my cousin who studied in Johor returned my father's first ever bought car - Nissan Sunny back to us. It was quite an old car, and with it I can drive with minimal stress (doesn't cause much pain if it involved in accidents). But hell, without power steering this car was a demon when it doesn't move (you will need to use every muscle of your body to turn the wheel). Thanks to it anyway for its great help in improving my driving skills.

I will never forget it.

Then since I'm driving so far everyday, my dad eventually took over the Sunny and gave his Saga for me to drive. Not the new one, it's Saga LMST which costed only RM27k! Poor economic condition anyway. =p The car is ok (especially when no more rough steering) but the seat is rather low. Just an ordinary car, but is a truly great deal judging on its price.

Done a decent job for me.

And now you know the story, the new car came and it's such a great experience driving it, considering it is assembled by Proton. The car has enough power to cruise it's heavy body with only a 1.3L engine, and the car's internal is so so comfortable. Since it's SE, it comes with leather seats, an airbag (driver only =.= ) and also sportier look. The stock speaker is really good which change is not needed for a regular user and wow, the cd player is able to play mp3 format! Now I can burn one disc with hundreds of songs inside! Not to be mentioned the hurricane like aircond when the fan is switched to maximum speed.

Something bad about it is the lame window system (you still need to manually adjust the rear windows) and also the absence of rear wipers. But in overall, a very very good sedan car for its price. And I believe this car can save Proton from their continuous sinking of market. ^.^

I guess everyone know what I'm trying to express now. Just went to mamak to support my most favourite club of all time. And yes, this time, my mood swung from -100 to +100!

A defeat would meant Liverpool's worst run of defeats for the past 56 years. They dominated the first 15 minutes, but then Man Utd controlled the rest of the first half and created a lot of threatening chances. Cold sweats came out from me, definitely.

Second half begun where Liverpool started to gain control of the game facing the famous Kop Stand. And fortunately, Torres was there. He received a brilliant cross from Benayoun and kaboom! Wonderful shot over the invincible Van der Sar! Yes! This is what my most favourite player can do!

After then Man Utd tried to break through our defence but the defenders and keeper took turn nullifying the offence. Carragher had foul which should be red carded but hell man, this is Anfield. He may not have the chance to exit from Anfield should he gave it.

Vidic got his hat-trick near the end of the game when he was given the second yellow by the referee - three red cards in last three meetings with Liverpool! Mascherano was again red carded as well for the clash between two reds. N'gog goal after that confirmed the three points for Liverpool!

Of course, the referees were again very questionable with their judgements, but you cannot blame anyone. The referee system in football is simply a shit compared with NBA.

Oh man, I was just a night too good to get into the bed and sleep easily! YNWA!

Aquaman will get his debut in this coming midweek and we shall see what magic can he bring!

Life's On Crisis

Having woke up in the morning dreamt about her, it was bad for the remaining of the day. This will always remind me how perfect she is in my point of view, and how sad it is for not being with her for past, present and maybe even future! The best thing to jumble up my mind and life.

Attending a tutorial class with only 9 students and only 8 present further worsened the day. Following up was a two hours break where I was alone. ALONE.

No more exciting games at home. Having to fill up a form for dad where he didn't even have a clear picture about what it is all about. Why can't he just at least give me a guidance when he want me to do things for him?

Searching for fair jobs through net and all it gets to nowhere.

Seriously I need frequent excursions to ease up my bored life. It gets more moody day by day, especially when Liverpool just lost their fourth game in a row...

My new semester is proven to be quite a boring one, before I met a man.

A man of 43 years old, has two children, stays at Rawang, claims that Deepavali is no other than a normal weekend to him even though he's an Indian and loves his wife's cooking more than his mum's.

The fact is, he's very optimistic, positive, humorous, influential, supportive, encouraging and thus makes me feel that he has a very powerful aura of making people better!

Yes, he's Mr Selvaraj, my oral communication lecturer.

I feel very fortunate to be assigned to a great teacher like him.

And yea, the moment he entered the class he gave an absolutely perfect impression to me. What a great attribute he possesses.

One more thing to add: he makes my choice of electives absolutely brilliant!

It really isn't that great recently. Since the unacceptable defeat of Liverpool against Sunderland. I was really unhappy to see a lot of so called loyal fans to throw the blame on Rafa Benitez rather than to keep their faith on the team. They don't deserve to be fans in my opinion.

I planned to play basketball on usual on the next day to relieve all the moodiness. However, I overslept the next day and stuck at home for the whole day.

School reopened today and its quite annoying as well with all those time-wasting classes.

No more new games on the computer.

Three Weeks' Chronicles: Part 3

And now, the last part of the chronicles, the trip to Penang!

The night where I ate at Tenji, I, as well as KK and Wai Ming, went to YY's house to stay as we were going to depart on the next day. However, we didn't manage to move earlier as Warren was late.

It took us about 5 hours to reach Penang, whereby we stepped into HH's house in Penang at almost 6pm. We were staying there by the way. Then we went to a buffet dinner which made me not so hyped to eat already due to the lunch on the previous day and the amount I had to eat to make the buffet worth the value. Furthermore, it's not local specialties.

We visited Queensbay Mall later that night and ate again at midnight. This time it was better. I love the squid and chee-cheong-fun. Then, we played pool games. Erm, why did we do those activities where we can do in KL as well? =P

The next morning we ate Hokkien Mee (not the KL's one) and the soup base is much better than the ones in KL. In case you still don't know, Penang Hokkien Mee=KL Prawn Mee. Then we went to Bukit Bendera by taking the cable car (train?). The weather was a little bit misty and I enjoyed it.

After that we continued our food quest by visiting another restaurant for Asam Laksa. There's also "Ching Bu Liang", a special refreshment. Followed up next was the purchase of famous Penang biscuits and layer cakes, then another restaurant with Char Kuey Teow and Cendol. The cendol's red beans is so nice that I who not really enjoy eating red beans can taste its goodness.

Sadly, we went to Gurney Plaza for nothing but pool again... =( Not playing long though. Not to be forgotten the journey to beach, although for just awhile. At night, we went for dinner at somewhere near Bayan Lepas after fetching YY's cousin, Fang Khee. She looks mature anyway. We ate a lot of nice seafood there.

Most of us became tired after that where we slept quite early I supposed. The next noon, we ate our final lunch before leaving Hock Heng and his girlfriend, Ann Ting (is it correct?). Thank you Hock Heng for becoming our tour guide.

The journey back home had to stop halfway as I had to visit my grandma at somewhere near Kampar. We picked some rambutans and ate two very nice papayas. Thank you po po.

The trip came to an end after we ate our dinner at Lookout Point, Bandar Mahkota Cheras. I went home with a tiring body and slept for 13 hours before I woke up on the next day. ^^

Three Weeks' Chronicles: Part 2

On this part I'm going to talk about the buffet at Tenji.

After the so annoying final exam, I went to Tenji the next day with my degree buddies. In case you don't know, Tenji is a Japanese Buffet Restaurant located at Solaris, Mont' Kiara. Well, I like the name Solaris a lot which I've used the nick Futura_Solaris in game years before.

We took a lunch buffet session, which begun at 11.30am until 4pm. As there was a promotion each of us paid RM46 only instead of RM80. Great deal didn't it?

The feel at there was sensational once we entered there, uhm... very Japanese I think (I love Japanese culture anyway). The meal at there? Uhm... Not really many, but still very delicious. There're shark fin tofu soup which the tofu was so so smooth! My favourite dish of the day. My favourite drink? Haha, although quite weird, it was rose tea! The aroma was so nice and soothing for my sensitive nose. ^^

We had an enormous meal there until 4pm as we captured a lot of funny pictures along the way~ Here are some of them...

Three Weeks' Chronicles: Part 1

Ohayo~ I'm back dear readers!

As what I stated before, due to absolutely compacted time, I've almost 0 minutes available for blogging. But now, I'm back!

Now here's the first part of the memorable things happened over these few weeks...

Hari Raya Day Two.

My family except I went go Cameron Highlands on the previous day, so I was home alone for four days. On the night of this day, as I was so boring staying at home, I decided to drive myself to the Mines for dinner. Since my family are enjoying on the several thousands meters above the ground, I decided to treat myself with something special. Subway, it was. Note that I've never ate that before, and my conclusion after eating that: Taste? Ok. Balanced diet? Totally yes! In fact, if all the Americans eat that rather than McD, I think there won't be so many people suffering from obesity.

The next thing I did was to search over the directory map for shoe shops. Since I am now playing basketball weekly again, seriously I need a pair of basketball shoes. I do like basketball shoes a lot due to its stylishness and of course, the thick air cushion! I went into Bata and finally found something good, unlike the same shop at Jusco Cheras Selatan (so little of varieties). Bought a good pair of shoes for RM90. Forgotten to capture some good pictures about it anyway, hehe.

Anyway, the parking ticket at the Mines was designed to badly that I've to scan the ticket for several minutes before successfully opened the gate. Silly system.

Wow! I'm so happy to see Torres to score to decisive goal just now! Always my idol alongside with his teammate Glen Johnson. It's just fabulous to see how Liverpool play now. So entertaining.

Back to the topic. I have a lot of wishes and plans during my 20th year of living on the world, so I'll just list it here for my reference (for yours also if you are interested =p ):

To get an original Liverpool FC home jersey with either Torres or Johnson's name printed on the back.
To find some work as you want job to gain some incomes.
To improve my FPL Zone blog weekly visitors count to 2k.
To see Liverpool to win EPL title again after 20 years of waiting.
To be with the girl I want happily ever after.
To get a full set of formal clothings (FULL means FULL).
To pass more than one SoA papers.

Those targets are not in order, so, you won't know which one is my priority hehe...

Phew~ Finally a long break awaits me after long continuous sessions of studies and exams. Erm, I've noticed that I don't pay a lot of commitment to exams anymore. In fact, the time and effort I give for exam decline from time to time. Maybe due to the self-believe that exam is not a very practical method to show your knowledge. You may have fantastic results in exam, but when come to reality, it's still another story. =P

Actually, there're also a lot of distractions that prevent me from giving 100% effort to "perish" the books into my mind. Firstly, my life motto - study hard, play hard. For every minute I studied, I spend another minute to entertain and relax myself. Just joking, not so exaggerated, but maybe for every 3-5 minute I studied, I spend one minute for that. For me, life's unpredictable, so better use up some entertainment quotas so that you won't lose so much when you accidentally... *touch wood*

The next thing, FPL Zone. What's that? It's my blog for a very interesting soccer prediction game, Fantasy Premier League. Basically I'm giving my very two cents guide to those amateur players (I'm only semi-pro by the way). Quite happy to do it since it both improved my Fantasy Premier League game and gave me auxilliary incomes. In fact I was so happy when Nuffnang provided me a CPI campaign where every visit to the site gives me income. Unfortunately, the campaign's ended and I'll have to wait for a new one, should I be given again. Now it's already my delegation to update the site at least twice a week (that's the main reason I've crapped less here).

And so, guess what? My first 3 final papers didn't end up to be looked like papers done by me. Haha. Firstly, Introductory Calculus. I got mess up with the differentiation of "tan x" and "sec x" which I only realised at last minute! Lost of some marks from there. Second paper, programming, looked quite awful. Some underestimation anyway since the marks required to get A is quite low due to my mighty coursework marks. Still, my crappy performance had built up some risks for me to get A-. The next thing, Prob and Stats. Bad time planning had made me ended up with 20 marks of blank and 10 marks of mistakes. Based on my counting, the probability of getting A should be 1%. FIFA 10 is still yet to be released! And I'm desperately waiting for it.

For those who can't wait, the demo is out. You can find it easily by google. But note that its size is very large for a demo version. A lot of new features again, and hopefully PC version won't be less than PS3/XBox.

Sorry for PES freaks, but I'm on the FIFA side. I always go for better visuals and audios, so FIFA is the best for me, no matter how good is PES gameplays. =P

绝代商骄

刚刚看完了绝代商骄的大结局。

如果说这是我这世人中看过最好看的连续剧不以为过。

轻松的剧情，加上可爱的角色演绎，令整部剧情生色不少。

整套剧情都在叫我们商业知识及道德，加上后面几集更穿插了感情生活上的小知识，剧情十足的教育性让我学了不少东西，实在是获益不浅。

最重要的是剧本正中我的胃口，给了我最原始的感动。

麦提爽这个角色实被黄子华演绎得太出色了，而其办事深不见底的手段更是令人钦佩。

总而言之，这部戏对我来说实在是比两部溏心风暴都有过之而无不及呀！

可惜，它只有二十集左右……

Wisdom vs Intelligence

Often people misregarded wisdom as an synonym to intelligence, but I remembered clearly what I'd listened from one of my most respected primary school teacher: a wise person is always intelligent, but the converse may not true (sorry I've studied too much of discrete maths).

Wise people are always open to opinions, as long as the opinions are logic, objective and make sense; intelligent people may not be.

Wise people always think about how their actions will affect others, and will not commit actions that will negatively affect the people around him; intelligent people may not be.

Wise people can handle uncertainties and problems appropriately; intelligent people, although have the knowledge, do not necessarily know how to practically overcome such situations.

In general, wise people is the one who knows how to apply what he has learnt rationally and appropriately into his daily life and tasks, while there exists some intelligent people who doesn't know how to use his knowledge. And such people are whom I look down upon, since they're really poor executioners.

In university life, such characteristics of human are easily shown in group assignments. Some, although not really the smartest of the class, can do their assignment really well since they know how to apply their wisdom into their work; on the other hand, some, although very smart, never really know what the assignment they are doing want and thus always ended up with a bad effort.

I would always respect the former one since they're real talents of doing big tasks. The latter will always be small pawns unless one day they realise the correct way of applying their knowledge. Till then, they're just wasting their smartness.

Remember, this old Chinese idiom is very true: reading blindly can never better than thinking wisely. And that is the reason why I never chose to read insanely everyday like what the leaders of the class do (I always choose the different path than others =P ).

Watched Orphan yesterday and I've to say that, this movie is absolutely nice. It's such a long time since I ever saw a horror movie at its best quality. 5 stars from me. You definitely can't miss it.

End of Sem 1

It's 2 weeks more from study week and 5 weeks more from the end of final exam, yet I declared that sem 1 is ended. Basically for me, all those assignments are the peak of a semester, so when they are finished, for me the semester is finished. Not much hardwork after that. Just whole lots of time for me to study leisurely.

Anyway, programming assignment was fun for me, as opposed to majority of the class. I'm a tech savvy anyway. In fact, I already finished it on Saturday (hell lot faster than most of the pack?). There're still some gap to perfection, yet I left it just there. Imperfect is perfect for me. And my planning was just great. I ponteng one week before for that and so, less stress, less suffer during my process of doing it. Just the same style for every assignment I had done. Hassle free, stress free, frustration free. I can see how many people are rushing their assignment at the moment. =p

And so now, much fun to hunt for, much time to waste for. Things I wanted to do in the next few weeks:

Whole lots of movie! Orphan, Final Destination, bla bla bla...
Sing K! It's such a long time when I last entered a K box.
One day/two day jobs which give high pay.

P/S: I hate parasites (both biological and human ones).

你成家立室后能确保你还能够抽回一样长的时间陪他们吗？

很多时候人们总是讲得很伟大，可是却是将一套做一套。

你可以说我冷酷无情，但是我只是以最实际的方式来回报父母，至少我不会对不起自己，我的父母也不会感到不满。

试问这世上又能有多少人把父母放在最高的地位？坦白说我不是，因为对我来说，将与我度过下半生及必须由我负起责任来照顾的小孩才是。

A Great Incident Beaten Up by A Great Father

Forgive me for my absenties from this pretty site for such a long time. Hectic life comes along with the existence of numerous of tests, which finally forces me to flip open my notes to read and open up the cap of my pen to do some exercise.

Still, there's such an incident which I just couldn't resist to post.

Thursday, 6.30pm. A day which I was supposed to drive but Joyce's swapped with me due to her intention to depart early. Well the class ended much earlier than expected which caused us to reach that unwanted place at unwanted time.

Guess what? An UFO flied across and crack! A sound similar to rain was heard. Then the screen cracked and cracked non-stop. And a disgusting pattern of scatterings spreaded across the windscreen. Looked creepy at that time especially when all the passengers inside the car have never experienced with such incident before. Thus we ordered Joyce to stop on the side of the road.

Well well, it looked horrible, scatterings continued and continued and tiny pieces of glass dropped just like sands falling from the hourglass. Since none of us have any idea on how to settle the problem, Joyce called up his father and also some of her relatives to ask for any solutions.

Surprisingly, another car came across the highway and yea, that car had also some wonderful patterns on its windscreen. I wonder who the hell actually brought this kind of shit to the drivers on the road. It was unforgivable. I mean why there isn't a heavy law imposed to prohibit the lorries carrying stones to not cover up their deliveries properly and transporting them on peak hours? This is shit.

Not so long we waited for Joyce's dad to come. The solution was easy by the way - pouring newspaper on the front internal compartment of car and cover up the fist to smash the windscreen inwards, though it's a little bit dangerous. It was extremely fragile anyway. Then Joyce's father ordered her to drive us home while himself taking charge over the damaged car. This is what I called a good father. Versatile, caring, and carrying all the burden under the sky by himself. A species facing extinction I suggest.

Well, things just happen unpredictably. If I drove that day, if she drove faster or slower, if the class ended earlier or later... It would have been avoided even by just one second. That's just fate. At least all of us learnt an important lesson about handling emergencies.

I really hate the pattern.

Finally Some Morale

Sem 1 is just wasting my time. In fact, due to the whole bunch of revising subjects, I believe even in 7 weeks I can finish the whole sem of study with the same pace as my foundation. Still, happy that now the syllabus is starting to become tougher, something positive to boost my study mood.

I remember that in the comic Slam Dunk, there's a super talent called Sawakita. He played basketball since 3 (or 5?) with his dad and became far too superior compared to others player in Japan. And due to that, he can't concentrate properly for his games. Guess that I'm having that kind of syndrome as well?

Sorry if anyone who read this felt offended.

Some great thing these days:

I solved a tough tutorial question by myself. Hell lot of satisfaction.
I scored 30/30 on my first programming practical.
I got >300 visitors on my bpl-fantasy blog for the first time.

Geez, one of the better days in my life.

The programming assessment today was quite easy. Well, I finished at 12.15 just because I thought the class was going to end at 12 (it's 1!). In fact, I was insanely fast LOL. Eventually I found out that I forgot a step in question two, but since it was discovered through my friend's solution, I didn't amend it. My score is good enough! XD

The Japanese presentation on the afternoon was a success as well. Before it started I felt quite embarassed as the way my team presented was very different from the others. Eventually it ended up with a very good feedback from the class, so... SUBARASHII DESU NE!

Then when I logged onto Nuffnang just now, I was surprised to find out that my visitors count for bpl-fantasy blog today had already reached 150 before 7pm! The best before was only 147 for whole day, and now it's still breaking the record even at weekdays! Wahaha, it's just so great!

Restless Day at School...

Just endured a non-stop school action today.

Departed from home at 6.15 for a test at 8.

Then started my class from 9-4.30.

And this time my programming practical ended punctually, which forced me to tapau my lunch to eat at japanese class at 1pm again. =(

The whole day I ended up walking and studying endlessly.

The only good this was there's only 1/2 of the class attended for the tutorial which made the class much interesting than any normal day. =)

Another not in time post.

Days ago, Manchester United had created a great atmosphere around Bukit Jalil. Yes, they came after 8 years of time! I'm a die hard fan of Liverpool so... ya I know you know it. I wasn't really excited about it.

With a 0-6 loss of last encounter, the media didn't really put any hopes on our national squad, especially when now our FIFA ranking is much lower than years before. But...

18th July 2009. Man Utd led a 2-0 advantage with goals scored by Rooney and Nani, but the next thing that happened was unbelievable. Amri Yahya scored a stunning volley which made Van der Sar unable to do anything about it!!! Wow, was that Malaysia national team? Then, an idiotic mistake by Foster gave Yahya a second chance to slot in another goal!!! 2-2 from 2-0? Simply unbelievable!!! I bet everyone was shell-shocked by that result.

Although Michael Owen (ya, that traitor of Liverpool =p ) secured Man Utd a victory, but the performance of Harimau Malaya was something that deserves a credit. The fact is such a rare phenomenon that Malaysia XI was able to let Man Utd to concede two goals can only happen once in a century. And it proves a slogan: Malaysia Boleh!!!

Credits to Man Utd too for a fine game and also a fine rematch. Rajagopal, please revive our national team! =)

My Wonderful Weekend: Part 2

A hopeless jog.

After the Bon Odori on the other day, I woke up at 6.40 today to participate for Jog for Hope. I drank only little bit of milo as suggested by Wai Kit and waited him to come. But omg. My call to him at 6.55 was actually a wake up call for him. =.= So I continued my slept for awhile until he came around 7.25.

Ya, Sunday traffic is always smooth like SK-II, so I didn't really think that we would late, but... We went through the wrong route, so... Moreover, we didn't know where is Plaza Damas, the venue for the competition. By the time we reached, it's already 8.20!

Since we were so so late, we had lost the motivation to jog for the win. LOL. We had already seen people running back before we had even entered turn 1! And it was so embarassing to see a lot of eyes staring weirdly at us. =.=

The run was eventually ended up with walk. Heh, the girl passing the rubber band at checkpoint one is pretty~ We managed to take our time to observe how good is Bandar Hartamas as a residential area. And funnily, we managed to pass some contestants! Yay! And since we definitely wouldn't win, we ended our jog at the 6km mark instead of 9km for open group.

And when we entered the Taylor's Bandar Hartamas campus, damn, so many lengluis! Wai Kit, you wasted my RM30 la... I can only look at you but not girls when jogging because of you! Haha. Furthermore, I also couldn't grab the gorgeous tee for Jog for Hope. The Tree Huggers Club logo is really cute! =(

Left with nothing but the heart for charity, we went back to home after that. A nice day, even the sun didn't torture us when we were doing charity. Great job for everyone involved!

My Wonderful Weekend: Part 1

Bon Odori!

Haha, as told by me, I went to Bon Odori yesterday with quite a number of friends: Wai Kit, YY, Zheng Mou, Samantha, Xin Yi, Jer Yen, Sam's sister and most unbelievably, the long lost Kwan Say Hong! Lol.

We departed from SL at six and reached at seven. Wai Kit was quite unlucky as his car's windscreen got smashed by rocklets falling from a lorry and got middle fingered by a cocky uncivilized Malaysian. Not to mention his race though to avoid racism. It's quite a long road walking from the main Panasonic entrance into the event venue. Oh gosh, Panasonic factory is so so abundant with leisure facilities! A swimming pool, a stadium, and a football field. =.=

When we reached the event entrance, we saw some punkies got banned from entry due to their lala-ness. They really did deserve that punishment. Bon Odori is somekind of ancestral ritual. STUDY BEFORE GO PLEASE. Did you guys think that all Japanese are lala just because of what you seen from drama/anime/AV?

The party splitted and I joined Wai Kit, Raymond and YY. We roamed around right after we went inside and were so delighted to find so many lengluis attended. Also we joined the culture dance session. It was so fun to join the pack! Moreover, the dancers on the stage wore kimonos with a big ribbon behind. Kawai ne~ I'll try to buy one for my gf, should I have any. =)

Then we went to get some Japanese food on the booth there. Four unagi rice for RM48. Expected fair inflation. Lol. Also I saw a lot of nihon products sold such as sake, sushi, the famous Pocari Sweat isotonic brand, Yakult and much more. We didn't buy any though (but Jer Yen did get Yakult for us). Thank god the unagi was nice haha.

The next thing we did was to roam around again and this time we met Jason, my primary schoolmates. "Hi, Jason, when are you going to lose your gamble at Jenn Shyang's house again?" Lol. And the next dance session commenced after that so we danced again happily.

The event ended after the final dance session. We went very south from Shah Alam to C Beach Cafe after that before we went home. Oh, Bon Odori is so nice! Next year I'll try to go to Penang to see a larger scale of this event there.

Didn't manage to post anything days before due to the sucky chain of tests: the Japanese mid-term, the Programming Practical and the sucky Prob and Stat test that took us five and a half hours of wasted break time due to that.

A Morning Walk, Nice =)

Hmm... Woke up at 7 today and went to Sungai Long. Why? For the sake of Jog For Hope which will hold on next sunday, which is one week from now (this charity event sucked RM30 from me!!). Unfortunately, I met another suggester of the event who FFK me again. Nevertheless, I've Wai Kit to accompany me.

I reached Keith's home around 7.40, and started our jog right after that. Keith's leading me for the jog, and he's starting with a fast pace - something between jog and run. However his pace started to slow down after awhile lol.

I only managed to jog the whole straight path of the SL trunk road, till SMKBBSL. Then both of us walked. We walked passed the basketball court of SL6 which I saw Wei Kian's playing without some familiar faces. Then Keith started to jog again. Meanwhile, my body didn't allow me to start to jog again with him due to the lack of oxygen.

I tried to jog again when I was near the clubhouse but my abdomen immediately felt some pain after that. So the plan was cancelled and I walked with some pain along with me. Eww, how bad is my physique. I think I'll just try to find some friends to jog with me regularly to improve my stamina and oxygen level (my mum always nag me for my frequent yawning).

Then I drove Wai Kit to basketball court to meet up with Wei Kian, played awhile of basketball and got Kah Fai to eat breakfast with us. A very good morning for me. =)

The Science and Maths Controversy

English or Malay?

I guess all Malaysians know what I am talking about. Otherwise, you should migrate to Mars. Science and Maths were and still are taught in English till now since 2003, but things are going to change again. Our Ministry of Education decided to reuse our Bahasa Malaysia and the mother tongues in Malaysia as the language to deliver both knowledge of Science and Maths to our fellow young students. Now here's my viewpoint:

1. For Primary School

Yes, a wise decision in fact. Children learn faster in their own mother tongue, hence these knowledge can be absorbed much faster. Furthermore there are more than half of the family population in Malaysia that hardly speak or write in English. So you can hardly see primary students who is borned in a non-English environment doing good in English.

2. For Secondary School

Ridiculous, totally. After six years of study, students should now have good base in English. Therefore, it is now the perfect time to switch the teaching of Science and Maths subjects to English. The scientific and mathematical terms which are more complicated in secondary school Maths and Science are now more suitable to be taught in English to avoid confusion, while it also provides students a preparation to adapt to the world's environment which is ruled by English language. Furthermore, it is totally ridiculous for students who come from SJK (C) or SJK (T) to study Science and Maths for 3 types of languages. It'll give rise to a lot of confusions and learning difficulties to them, while it doesn't benefit the Malays at all in terms of competitivity.

Please, government, wake up, give some more constructive ideas rather than these rubbishes. You can do much better MoE, for the sake of the future. Now TEACH SCIENCE AND MATHS IN MOTHER TONGUE FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL LEVEL WHEREAS TEACH IN ENGLISH FOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS.

My Form Is Forced to Back, Finally

Yaya, my form is forced to back, finally.

Three tests this week, followed by two the next. Seriously if I still refused to enter my study mode, I will get doomed by my results. =P

Come on, don't say that the smarties don't need to read. WE DO NEED TO READ, but we managed to digest the knowledge faster than the average. Don't be envious okay? Everyone got talents, you just need some time to discover. =)

My review for my subjects after six weeks of ~~fun~~ study in university.

Introductory Calculus: So far it's still not challenging due to the revision of foundation mathematics.

Probability and Statistics I: The subject's not hard, but the stupid and long formula screw me up.

The Seven Primes

After some procrastination, finally I had watched "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" last Friday. The graphics are so so realistic. Somehow overrealistic. Lol. And it somehow looks like a show of perverted humour. =.=||

Some ~~stupid~~ interesting facts about that movie:

1) Sam Witwicky can read a book of thousand pages within several tens of seconds due to the effect of All Sparks.

2) There is a transformer that can change into human form... =.=

3) There are actually seven Primes, with only Optimus Prime left.

4) The Fallen looked so strong, but yet so so noob.

5) The metal of the transformers somehow seems too strong and shiny to be seen as metal.

If not due to the stupid climax the movie has, I would have rated the show 10/10. It was disappointing not to see a long 1v1 boss battle between Optimus and the Fallen.

Jetfire equipped Optimus Prime. Looks so cool and guess what? He can fly (though looks like Gundam)!

Whereas the movie I watched at home, Angels and Demons, looked much better in terms of plot and was so exciting and mind stimulating. An awesome movie of religionbots vs scienceticons (noob terms lol).

Realflation

The world is crazy. Specifically, the arena of football.

Realflation is striking the world.

What? Realflation? What's that?

It's the inflation of soccer players' price which Real Madrid brought to this transfer season.

Their first signing this season, Kaka, had already stunned the world with a price tag of 65mil Euros. What an incredible price!

And the next thing Real Madrid did was restunned the world again by buying Christiano Ronaldo of Man Utd with record breaking 80 mil Pounds. Are they insane?

Yes I do admit that both of them worth more than 100 mil pounds, but not around 130 mil pounds. That's way too much.

And such thing had led to the ultimate inflation of this season's football arena.

Liverpool had tagged Xabi Alonso for 35 million and Mascherano for 50 million pounds due to the giant figures that Real had risen.

Bayern Munich wants 70 million pounds for their French ace Ribery.

And the most recent news reported that Real Madrid had again continued their spending spree by hunting Benzema for 35 million pounds.

Oh, are they crazy?

At least the realflation is bringing the world crazy.
