Frozen Egypt

It happened on Wednesday. Egypt had been frosted into an iceland! Hahaha just kidding. Actually I had an outing with my friend that day. Where? Lets give you a clue. A place with pyramid and ice? Lol. You can guess it right? It's Sunway Pyramid! Uhm, honestly I hardly go to other malls other than Jusco Cheras Selatan, Leisure Mall, Times Square and Sungai Wang. Hard to believe? It had been 4 years since I last second time visited Mid Valley Megamall compared to last time. Hahaha. So now let me write a noob narrative about my fantasy at Sunway Pyramid with my friends.

Erm... Lets begin then. Haha. Well WK, KF, YY, ZM and me arrived at there around 12.30, with WM arrived much earlier due to "miscommunication". Is there such word? Lol. I think the last time I visited there was about 10 years ago, so the place was really a labyrinth for me. >< Anyway, I think the place is really magnificent for a hedonist like me - cinema, karaoke, bowl lane and most importantly, ICE RINK all in one place!!! Somemore Sunway Pyramid has its class of shopping quality, thus its really a nice mall in my opinion. However it's far away from my home. =.= Well half of us ate at McD after arrival, before we went to RedBox for a karaoke session.

RedBox, it's true that Sunway Pyramid is a labyrinth. I really couldn't believe the geographical stupidity of RedBox there - you can only access it from the outside of the mall, not from the inside. It took us about half an hour for the search. When we entered at first, the rate it charged - as said by the staff, was quite reasonable I think - 18++ for normal entry and 8++ for students. Just to tell you that our gang had only 3 person who brought student cards, so the other 3 were charged based on normal rates. After 4 hours of singing, where we already bored of it, we were surprised that the singing session costed us RM 130! That's way lot higher than expected - student price of RM 17 and normal price of RM 27. Wth. And it costed us a lot of time for other activities as well. =.=

The next thing we do? Well WM had backed to his home, with only one thing done with us. The rest of us except YY who became a spectator, went to the frozen Egypt, paid RM13, got a pair of hard rock boots with sharp blades beneath, and glided on a almost frictionless and translucent surface. Ya, ice-skating! Tee-hee I'm making a big story! XD Well it's a must to ice-skate right when you're at there? Haha, it's kind of embarassing for a coward Min Yang to learn ice-skating... It almost took me an hour to finally accelerate on my own - withouth the supports from my friends or the walls. Honestly, it costed me a lot of energy to keep myself balanced, especially when the floor got wetter and wetter due to friction - where I could see certain places there becoming a 5mm deep pond. However the experience was great! And I could see some pros speeding and freestyling at there as well. Haha. After two tired hours at there, we finally returned the skates back to the staffs there and went out of Sunway Pyramid.

That's the whole story? Nope. We hadn't completed our dinner yet! So we went to a famous buffet steamboat restaurant near there - Yuan. Honestly, it got little difference with the steamboat restaurant I mentioned last time when I went to Jesh's house - what I meant is food. The environment, of course, is much better. And it's a little bit cheaper even at Sunway city! Well I didn't eat that full compared to the meal at Seri Kembangan. Maybe a little bit of phobia? Or health alertness? Lol. And finally we went home after the meal. Home sweet home. ^^

A Day at Low Yat

Hmm... Guess I'm just a little bit down to post. That's why it takes me so long to post this one,  although it's now still holiday for me. Lets talk back about Sunday - the day where I took my gf for "organ transplant". Wow! Hahaha, don't worry, it's actually my computer! She had lost her voice, added with her "bad temper" (random power failure), she was very "ugly". Hahaha. That's why she needed an operation and that's why I went to Low Yat - The Heaven of Integrated Circuits of Infinite Possibilities. I'm too over? XD

At first I really thought that it was only a fast process - just to replace the faulty parts of my PC. But when I, accompanied with my dad, reached there, the staff asked me for a checkup. So we agreed by paying him service charge. Well, the staff told us to wait for around 2 hours, so we went to Times Square's McD for a meal - which I ate Fillet O'Fish that I seldom order. After hanging awhile at there, we went back at 4.30 - 1 1/2 hours after we sent the PC for checkup. And guess what? The staff there had not checked my PC yet. We hung around there and backed at 5, still he said "Wait for another 2 hours."

OMG. Hence my dad begun an expedition with me to visit for those malls at the City Center - Sungai Wang, Bintang Walk, Pavillion... Until the staff called us at 6.45 pm. Grr... No choice, she's my gf. =P Well a sound card was added and the staff said there was nothing wrong with my power supply but I knew that it had lots of fault for my system failure! So I went and picked a new PSU (power supply unit) and requested him for a replacement. It costed my dad RM2xx for those two parts. After another half an hour of hardware installation, finally, DONE!

We had our dinner at a porridge shop before we went back to home. Well I really couldn't understand why is the restaurant called Porridge Restaurant when it only serves plain tasteless porridge. =.= And guess what? After carrying the CPU for whole day, my hand was so weak and my shoulder was pain for the next day. =( Anyway, it worthed it as the price for PC spare parts there are much much cheaper than what you get from a normal computer shop or a computer technician. ^^ Thus my gf is beautiful again. XD

Tomonori Jinnai 阵内智则

Who is that fellow? Well, he's the best comedian I have ever seen. Lol. His works are really simple but spectacular. I got exposed to his comedies due to my friend hohoho. You can find it in Youtube, but it's a Japanese comedy in Chinese subtitle so those who don't know Chinese sorry for not able to understand it.

You can watch one of it here: Tetris.
It's a tetris game so you won't mind that much about what he said. All the essence of the comedy is inside the game itself. Enjoy~

It soundless. I speechless.

God damn computer! It's giving lots of trouble to me! This time? It lost its sound. =.=
What's funny? All 3 audio jacks are detected to have devices when I only connected to one of them. And a unexisted front port jack is detected to have headphones connected. OMG.
I'm going to take it for a repair soon. Money grubbing son of the xxxxx. Sigh~

Valentine - calamity for the singles?

2009.2.14 - Chai Min Yang, at the age of 18++, IS STILL SINGLE AND AVAILABLE on the 18th Valentine's Day that he has passed. This is predictable as he is really a big failure in relationships, just as what people say "he knows nothing other than books" haha. So he still needs to study a lot about this field. XD

Back to yesterday. In this long 3 weeks of semester break, time must be wasted in order to endure the boring holidays. So YY and I went to Jesh's house to spend the time (he had ended his foundation and thus is on a long break as well).

Jesh's house is really far away from us and is quite away from city as well which YY and I call it kampung area hahaha. What we've done there? Sigh~ They are professional gambler so I've to suite to their activities. XD Of course we're playing PS3 YY brought as well.

At nite, we went to an outdoor buffet style BBQ/steamboat restaurant for a dinner. RM21.80 per pax. There are a lot of food such as meat balls, lamb, chicken, seafood, veggies, fruits and ice-cream. Quite valuable right? Although the seafood aren't that fresh haha. Here's some snapshots:

Before the meal...

After the meal... What a mess. XD

I ate extremely full that day and I bet my friends were as well. Maybe about 150% full? XD After that those gambler gambled again till 5am before we slept until 12pm. What an unhealthy lifestyle. XD

We've almost done the same things at the Valentine's Day before we went home at 5pm. What a sad way to pass a special day like this. =.= Hope that the next year I'll have someone special to celebrate with. Wakaka. ^^

国境之南 South of the Boundary

Uhm... Just finished watching Cape No 7, the best-selling Taiwanese film. Erm, in fact, I had watch the first 30 minutes of it several weeks ago, but didn't manage to finish it as I found the beginning is quite boring. However, when I watched it just now, I finally agreed that it is a good film - although the storyline heated up very slow, with some parts of the beginning only can be understood when the movie is nearly end. Guess what? After watching the show, my interest towards the song “国境之南” has boosted up so much! Yes, a song with a clear background story is what I liked the most! Here's the lyrics, enjoy~

P/S: It really doesn't matter anymore, as long as I occupy a part in your heart, that's enough. ^^

New Discovery

Phew~ Exam's officially ended! But what's coming on? A bored planless and aimless holiday. A lot of constraints. So demotivated. Sigh~

By the way, I've just found something unbelievably nice! Html code for a embed player on the site which you can include any song title that you can download from the web! This is marvellous, now I've no need to go to imeem or mp3-codecs.com to embed those time consume searching yet may not be good quality of mp3s into my site! Instead, I choose any music files that I can download from the web and just include the link into the code! It is just so good! Hahaha.

Sayonara~

Guess what? I had opened a Facebook account yesterday... Do pay a visit to my profile okay? ^^ Well, I really don't know what is so complicated about it, as told by others. It look much simpler than Friendster! Or maybe I haven't discover much about it yet? Hehe.

Today a news reached: my mum's babysit client decided not to let my mum to take care of her baby anymore. :( Well, I don't know whether superstitions really exist, but since my family came back from the funeral, Xin (the baby) just got diarrhoea non-stop. And now she's in the hospital waiting to be operated due to some sort of digestive systems dislocations. Hope that she'll be fine.

Uhm, it's quite a sad news right? She's been with us for more than 1 years, and now we're separated in such a bad way. Forgive me for my emo, events recently aren't that good, so although I'm not sorrow, I can hardly get hyped. I bet my mum is more sad about that, hope that she can get well soon as well...

Just some cute memoirs about her, the cuddly lovely Tan Zhi Xin:

Forgive me for not arranging them in chronological sequence, my tears were falling down as I looked through these photos (maybe for the first time I cried for others?). I don't know how come I can be so emotional now. Now I am sure that my mum will definitely be sad. Xin, have a happy child life kay? Hope that we can meet up again in the future... Good bye!

Quotes from Squall Leonhart (just some outlines):

Sis, where are you?
Sis, where are you?
Am I... alone?
Don't worry.
I'll be ok without you sis.

I hardly remember what he said in FF VIII, but it really suites this occasion.

A Day

Two posts in a day? Well I just want to write lala lalalala. =P

Yesterday I went to YY's house hohoho. I am not supposed to visit people's house due to some pantang larang after my grandpa's death. But since YY's parent don't care, so why should I? XD The first thing I did after reaching there: what else if not gamble? $$$ Although I never have luck in such things, but still I love the suspense I get in such illegal activity hohoho. Later then we went for a dinner and got back to sing and gamble again. >< And so the day was passing fast.

Today is just so boring, with air in my stomach. =.= It was so irritating. My stomach is so "muscular" for the whole day. OMG help me!!!

And finally I managed to master manual car driving skills. No problem anymore! Hehehe...

Lion Heart

To "you know who you are", don't worry, I'm fine. ^^

Well finals is going to the end. These days were just fine as usual, the tests were fine as well (holy crap). Just some summaries:

Writing for Science : Stroke it well? Hahaha.
Physics : 10++ marks of blank? Need some luck.
Chemistry : Easier than expected. No doubts and worries. XD
Prob Solving & Prog : Some major errors. :(
Maths : Something was wrong as well.
Public Speaking : It's on Tuesday, who knows? =P

It's really too much in my heart now. Which I never know how to express it. I really don't know since when I had lost my confidence and enthusiasm. I am completely different from the sunny Min Yang in the past. In fact, I'm losing my identity. My very own direction and pace. How to resurrect the lion heart?

Crush - David Archuleta

I should have posted this earlier. It has great resonance with me! Hahahaha...
Here's the lyrics, enjoy~

I hung up the phone tonight
Something happened for the first time deep inside
It was a rush, what a rush

'Cause the possibility
That you would ever feel the same way about me
It's just too much, just too much

Why do I keep running from the truth?
All I ever think about is you
You got me hypnotized, so mesmerized
And I've just got to know

Do you ever think when you're all alone
All that we can be, where this thing can go?
Am I crazy or falling in love?
Is it real or just another crush?

Do you catch a breath when I look at you?
Are you holding back like the way I do?
'Cause I'm trying and trying to walk away
But I know this crush ain't goin' away-ay-ay-ay-ayy
Goin' away-ay-ay-ay-ayy

Has it ever crossed your mind
When we're hanging, spending time girl, are we just friends?
Is there more, is there more?

See it's a chance we've gotta take
'Cause I believe that we can make this into something that will last
Last forever, forever

Do you ever think when you're all alone
All that we can be, where this thing can go?
Am I crazy or falling in love?
Is it real or just another crush?

Do you catch a breath when I look at you?
Are you holding back like the way I do?
'Cause I'm trying and trying to walk away
But I know this crush ain't goin' away-ay-ay-ay-ayy
Goin' away-ay-ay-ay-ayy

Why do I keep running from the truth?
All I ever think about is you
You got me hypnotized, so mesmerized
And I've just got to know

Do you ever think when you're all alone
All that we can be, where this thing can go?
Am I crazy or falling in love?
Is it real or just another crush?

Do you catch a breath when I look at you?
Are you holding back like the way I do?
'Cause I'm trying and trying to walk away
But I know this crush ain't goin' away-ay-ay-ay-ayy
This crush ain't goin' away-ay-ay-ay-ayy
Goin' away-ay-ay-ay-ayy
Goin' away-ay-ay-ay-ayy
Goin' away-ay-ay-ay-ayy

Funeral

Uh huh. My Chinese New Year was "celebrated" with funeral. Well I can't complain much about it, but all the things I do several days before were eating, kneeling and praying. It may be weird, but I ate more compared to previous CNY celebrations.

Ok lets tell you some stories about funeral. Firstly you must know what is "Da Zhai" (I really don't know how the heck can I translate this into English) - 2 whole days of veggies! Well it didn't matter to me since I like veggies as much as I like meat. The first thing that initiated the funeral was the arrival of my grandpa's coffin. Well a lot cried, including my dad. I hardly able to since my conciousness always dominates my emotions. Furthermore I didn't really have good connections with my grandpa. Of course, still, without him, I am nobody.

The first night was where the actual ritual started. The "Namo Lou" - a very unrespectful name to be called to those priests in my opinion, sang and played the gongs for the whole night while we sat, kneeled, prayed and burned joss sticks during the process. The kneeling was extremely painful which my joints were full of pain after that. My eyes were irritated as well by the carbon fumes of joss sticks. But the first night wasn't really that awful compared to the second. Haha.

The second night was the same thing but costed us a longer time. I was so pain to kneel down again due to the damage done during the first night. But the ritual on the second day was more interesting though (weirdo?). We had to answer for the questions the priest directed to us to help our grandpa to reach the underworld. The funniest part was when the priest "activated" the paper servants for my grandpa. The ritual ended with the combustion of the paper house, along with the servants, a Mercedes with a driver and also paper money which we folded for 2 days (around 20 fully filled black garbage bags). Hopefully my grandpa is rich now in the other world. Haha.

It was 2 after the ritual ended, and I was instructed to guard the change the joss sticks before it lit off so I stayed overnight with some of my cousins. We teased one of our cousin for his boyfriend and another of my cousin conducted anonymous calls for entertainment. So the night was quite interesting. We slept at 5 before waken up again at 7.

It was the day for the funeral parade. We sent our grandpa to cemetery and finally we were off for the restrictions after the funeral ritual started - we couldn't wash our hair! It felt so good to wash the gelled hair due to excessive oil from the scalp. Most of our relatives back after that day, except those family of sons of my grandpa - which include my dad, who needed to pray again the next morning.

And so I finally managed to back home at Saturday and I was glad to know that Tuesday finals is postponed - which grant me another day for study!
