Save The King

A sad news: my grandfather was dead. My family rushed back to Ipoh hospital on Friday, seeing my grandpa was on comma. According to what I heard he fell down while he was working out to collect rocks earlier on that day (that's what usually an old man do, especially when he's so used to labour work during his young age). While we was visiting him at the hospital, a kind-hearted young man helped us to listen to a doctor's  explanation (Yes I can listen, but he was helping my aunt to translate before my family came). According to the doctor, his condition was very serious. And the young man had told us his earlier experience of his grandma that he may die in these days - and so my grandpa did die on the next day. :-( Sad to hear such news right? Especially on festive seasons. Well at least I'm able to see him for a last time.

Not to be forgotten, my grandmaternal (or what so ever) side granduncle, with his wife and daughter from China came for a visit to Malaysia. He's a retired surgeon (cool) and has a lot of medical knowledge. His daughter is very extrovert and looks very young (she is around 40 but her face looks like 30). All my aunts say that she acts similar to my second aunt, who is also my closest aunt. Well, it's kind of sad for them not to able to chat with my grandpa (again, at least they're able to see him for a last time).

Knowing no more CNY celebrations and my exam is coming around the corner, I decided to come back to home with my aunt (which I mentioned just now) back to KL on CNY's eve for some study before going back for funeral. For the first time in my life, I had the simplest reunion dinner - only with my aunt (her husband and children had went back to her husband side for reunion dinner). Then I went back to my home for some studies.

As for today, I was so tired that I woke up at 11 - even an alarm clock has no effect on me at all. =.= After some studies again I went to my aunt house (in walking distance) for lunch (her family members were back). Then we decided to went for Greenbox to sing as well as observing the CNY atmosphere at KL (the 1st time in my life). It's still a lot of people though. My aunt and cousins were surprised for my singing skills hehe. Well, my cousin June Ting is a fabulous singer. This is expected as she is working as a pub singer now apart from studying. My aunt said that the Chai family has a lot of good singer. XD

Then we went for a dinner at Malay stalls - since all Chinese restaurants were closed. The meal was quite a delicious one. Yummy! I love tomyam so much! I studied again after that till just now.

Well, during my stay at hometown before I went back, I've learnt some important lesson. I must take care of my family members well. Before that I was quite frustrated with my dad, who just doesn't know how to communicate with his children. He was good when I was young but he just turned out to be worse during these years. Maybe it is because of his anxiety. My aunt (the same one) who is a very objective and wisdomed woman, advised me and my mum a lot. Each family members has the responsibility too to improve the family bonds. I think it's time to save the king! Yes, it's time. Time to improve. Before it's too late.

I'm leaving again tomorrow for my grandpa's funeral. So, PHONE me if you want to find me!

Leaving

I am supposed to back to hometown at Sunday, but special case occured: my grandpa had been sent to hospital. So, I'll be leaving soon. My father is frenzied again, which I hate it so much. He cares about his siblings and parents more than us. Sigh~

Too anyone who concern, call me if you have got anything to inform me. Happy Chinese New Year dude! ^^

Think too much? Or done too little?

>500 SMSes already. My Guinness World Record had been broken! Well I really don't know does that mean anything for her... Is she too outgoing? Or is it because both of us are using Maxis? Ah, am I thinking too much or done to little? This might be the shortest post of me because my feelings are too complicated to write anything. Sigh~ and Hurray!

S.S.S.S.

S.S.S.S.? What's that? Haha, it means Superb Sunday Shopping Spree! Guess you know what I mean. Today, being waken up in a neutral mood, I spent some hours studying while enjoying the ending of Miss No Good. It's a very humourous drama haha. After that, I went shopping with my family which I seldom did. This was predictable as CNY is coming!

We went to the nearest shopping mall - small but complete with k-box, cinema, boutiques, electronic shops... - Jusco Cheras Selatan. Well I still think it's quite small compared to the density of people living here. Our first stop? A shop which I had never thought about it - Focus Point! Haha. I've been requesting my mum for a brand new spectacles as my current one had been with me for three to four years and is very dull-fashioned. I searched for what that is popular now - thick stylish frame which makes your eyes bigger. After glance over the shop for 30 minutes, finally I chose one which is more squarical - my head's BIG, so I had to choose the appropriate specs which make my head appear to be "smaller". Haha. Fashion sense? =P Well, when I was paying, I was kind of surprised that a good pair of lenses actually cost RM 250! OMG. I had to stick with the regular one. =.=

Well right after that we went to a photoshop. Another surprise! My mum decided to spoil us by buying us a digital camera! Whoohoo!!! Well, I still remembered last time how I kept requesting my mum for digital camera, until I got my new phone with 3.2 megapixels. I am not that desperate for digital camera anymore. But I think my sisters are. Haha. After a brief recommendation by the staff there, we chose an Olympus what so ever model with 8.0 megapixels which costed RM699. It wasn't a bad price with free memory card and batteries right? Nevertheless I felt so happy. I've got a new family member in my electronic gadgets list. My mum is just so great! I love you mummy!!!

Just next of the photoshop we saw a promoter promoting a "magic mop". Yup, that mop can sweep and mop at the same time. Great isn't it? And I was very impressed of the way the promoter promoted. He repeated what he said in a smooth flow. What a beauty. Hahaha. My dad bought it with a price of RM 40.

The departmental store was our next stop. Love at first spot. Girl? No I am loyal haha. It was a brilliant maroon shirt with a very attractive pattern. And guess what? I dressed it perfectly. Bravo! Hahaha. It was just my second pick of the CNY and I might not buy another one again but I think it was enough. Cause I had got a new specs! =)

Last place we went - McD! And I ate a prosperity burger! So I'll have a prosperous 2009! HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!! Although we have to endure for our finals... What a wonderful day!

Last Day...

Days sure are passing fast... Guess what? My semester 2 classes had officially ended! It was quite a tiring one compared to semester 1. Why? Because the subjects are much exciting! Firstly, we had talk shows where we found a lot of laughters and entertainment behind the hard work. Secondly, there was programming subject which I found so interesting (Am I weird?). Lets have an analysis of my coursework marks (if you care):

Maths II : A good test 1 and a lame test 2.
Physics II : A good test 1, a moderate test 2 and moderate practicals.
Chemistry II : A good test 1, a moderate test 2 and moderate practicals.
Programming : A lame test 1, a moderate test 2 and moderate assignments.
Public Speaking : A lame mid-term, a moderate speech and a good talk show.
Writing for Science : A good test, a lame assignment and a normal quiz.

Basically, I have much higher chance to score CGPA of 4.00 this semester. But my friend dreamt of me getting 3.75. =.= Although I'm not the top 3 in my class now, but who cares? Hahaha...

Lets talk about today... Firstly, congratulations for me for selling those useless rubbish-like money-grubbing semester 1 text books. I sold chemistry and maths for RM95. It was slightly lower than the average I think but the most important thing is I got the money! Just like the old chinese "idiom" says "Money isn't everything but without money, you are nothing". At least now I have got some pennies to furnish myself with some new year stuffs.

Then, I thought a girl Maths as well. Haha, but I was performing badly. =.= I made her so boring in the process. I was really bad. Even my friends complained me. Ishhhh... She stayed at school purposely just for my assistance and although I have quite completed my job, but the process was not on my satisfactory? Or am I expecting something more? Hahaha... Maybe I don't understand myself at all. But surely, I'll definitely improve myself!

It seems that there were some minor changes to this blog? Uh-huh. Firstly, the title! Secondly, there's music! But anything is still the same and I am still myself. Hahaha... The next week will be a tough study week before the evil final exam. Hope that I can get 4.00! Ahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

The Chronicles of Week 13 of Sem 2 - The Lunch and The PS3

This post should be a long one. Please do not bother if you are busy. Hahaha...

2009.1.5
Errr... I can't remember much about what really happened that day, except I got my chemistry practical marks. If not mistaken, it should be 8, 8.5 and 9.25. Although they are quite low compared to td 13 leaders, but who cares? I am only working for A, not 100%.

2009.1.6
Hmm... A quite memorable day. I borrowed my tutorial work to a really adorable girl haha. But it was quite strange because we have never chat verbally before. ><

2009.1.7
I only attended for a 2-hour class, story for that day? Sorry, no.

2009.1.8
I was kind of sick on that day (minor fever with love sick ><). Erm... I got my programming test 2 result that day as well. You definitely must not miss this! The full mark is 45.

What? How could that be possible? You are fooled! XD That was second page of my answer sheet, which was the mark for question 1b. Even my total mark wasn't written so big. =.=

2009.1.9
The Lunch
After the programming practical, we went for lunch at Al-Esfan (a very very expensive yet common mamak =.= ). Look at what we ate.

Gay~ haha. Now lets look at the price... nasi pattaya - RM6.00, teh o ais limau - RM1.70... That's a very terrible price. I swear I would never go there again!
Now here's how we ordered:

Staff : Minum apa boss?
Tok : Teh o limau ais.
Run Fa : Sama.
Me : Sama la.
Wayne : Sama.
Staff : Makan?
Run Fa : Nasi pattaya.
Me : Sama.
Tok : Za dao! Sama juga la.
Wayne : ...
Me : Same la! Think wat o?
Wayne : No. I don't want to eat rice.
Me : Don't want then go to the other table.
Wayne : Ok loh... Sama.

Then YY came after having his replacement test and ordered the same thing as us......

The PS3
We had planned to stay overnight at YY's house after Friday classes. Guess what? He had
bought a PS3. That's awesome! But he has only 2 games... Well, first we ate at the chinese
restaurant (again) where we ordered dishes and rice. Coincidently we saw Daniel there as well.
His car key was snatched just days after he lost his wallet at the countdown. What a pity.

After eating we went to YY house and had a short cycling session. Then the PS3 was on. I
had to agree playing PS3 with plasma TV is really a great enjoyment. We kept on debating on
FIFA 09 and PES 2009 about which is better while we were playing.

At the midnight, perhaps later than midnight, we went to mamak since we were hungry. We
had a lot of lame jokes there. Lets review some of the highlights:

"I challenge you to ask the staff to close the light. I belanja you makan if you do that."
"Really? Allright no problem man."
"Abang, boleh tutup lampu r?"
"... (with some unbelievable expression)"

Here's another...
"I am serious man. Am I look like the type of people who like to bullshit?"
"Ya, that is the most serious joke of the century."
"I absolutely agree man."

We played again after we went back until 5.00 am. OMG~

2008.1.10
Just another day of play before we went back home...

Crushed Crushed Crushed

It was really unbelievable that I started 2009 with such strange yet familiar feeling - crush. I still remembered the last time I was crushed with a girl was in 2004, and I was just falling in love with her till the end of 2007 - without any chances AT ALL. Sad right? Well I deserved it for my thoughtful attitude. I am really poor in terms of relationships, although I am better now thanks to my very good friend YY, and maybe my very cute junior Sin Yin hehe. They extroverted me quite much in the year of 2008.

Well, how much have I fallen into the love hole? Erm... I can say: It's really WAY WAY DEEP. You know, this is the first time my very first crush Carmen disappeared from my thoughts completely. Though not every second, but I am sure that I'll think about her in average once every minute. My feelings are jumbled up just like a puzzle to be solved, but I really don't know and not sure of what to do now...  I am very sure of what my feelings are, but how about her? I am absolutely confused stunned and petrified. What's the best way to move forth? =.=

1.1.2009

2k9 2k9! Whoohoo! Another new year has kickstarted muahaha! First of all, I'll dominate this year! By any means! Wakaka... Fresh Min Yang is on his way to conquer the world! XD

What to conclude of the countdown yesterday? Erm... a blend of joy and tragedy... though it was not on me... So lets begin the story...

5.15 - Kah Fai and I were waiting below my home for our friend's car to reach. Well, the blow water king - CxC got along well with my UTAR friends. Indeed it was speechless. LOL.

5.45 - We reached the Bandar Tasik Selatan LRT station and took the train trip to Hang Tuah station. Then we had a short walk to Times Square.

6.30 - We took some photos inside TS. There's some beautiful artifical sakura! Hehe.

Can you notice the black and white formation? Haha...

7.00 - We went to have a meal at Gasoline Sg Wang. The restaurant was Halloween themed, so we took some really eerie photos inside. There was really a lot of Ju-Ons there! I really had to complain, the service there was really awful. Doubling some and forgetting some orders, 2 sets of french fries came at different times, that was a bad meal. We only managed to get out of there and 9.00.

Ju-On starring by Benson
Ju-On 2 starring by Keith aka Mike aka CxC

Ju-On 3 starring by Kah Fai

Ju-On 4 starring by me!
Ju-On 5 the comedy starring by Wai Ming aka Wayne

9.30 - We went to the concert venue. There was where disaster happened. Perhaps we were too sided from the crowd. We got squeezed outside of the border! Some of my friends had fallen down to the steps! Furthermore as you know, crowded places were really susceptible to thefts. Two of my friends lost a phone and a wallet respectively. That's really awful as my friend Thinesh said: "This is the first time I came to countdown at KL and this happened. Good job man!"

10.30 - Having such bad experiences, we decided to dispatch ourselves from the crowd. We hung around the front corridor of Times Square. My thieved friend decided to go to police station for a report since he had to drive later, but unfortunately the station's off. =.= Then Yoong Yang went to LRT station to buy some tickets for his sisters. While they were busying for their things, we crapped non-stop there. We kept discussed whether we should join back the crowd or not. And times passed just like that.

12.00 - We were observing the clock for countdown but the fireworks bursted into the sky! So no countdown as planned. We shouted and shrieked like monkeys as well as clapping our hands joyfully as we saw the fireworks splashing beautifully beyond the blocking skyscrappers in the sky. Although the fireworks were only partially seen, but still my heart, and others as well I thought, were glowing with a big sense of joy and hope. After the beautiful sceneries ended, we shouted "happy new year" loudly and uniformly. Hehe. The countdown was not that bad after all. Then some of my friends went back home while the rest including me waited for YY's sisters to join the group to go back home.

1.30 - Reached home with satisfaction. It's new year man! Happy new year! May your wish come true! GOGOGO 2009!
