Goodbye to Magpies

The Premier League was... officially ended. Haha.

Lots of dramatic action happened this season. Lol.

Manchester United aka MU, won their deserved title. Whereas Liverpool has became the best runner-up with the highest points and lowest defeats as compared to the previous runners-up. They even managed to break the record where the club with the lowest number of defeats cannot become the champion of the season. Lol.

Chelsea and Arsenal grabbed the next two positions and this means that EPL is still the big four league. Whereas Everton, Aston Villa and Fulham grabbed the spot for the Europa League, the remade of UEFA Cup.

Whereas for the newly promoted clubs, West Bromwich Albion - the frequent visitor of EPL, has to back to its hometown - The Football League Championship. Whereas Stoke City, with the sparkles of Delap and Beattie for the early and late stages of the league respectively, had firmly secured its path in the league. Whereas for Hull City, even though they had a wonderful performance during the early stage of the season, they only managed to protect themselves from relegation after the last game.

What's surprising it's actually the relegated team - Newcastle United! OMG. They were once the English big five, so it's just hard to accept this cruel fact. They have a big stadium, a large number of fans and the likes of players like Michael Owen, Damien Duff and Martins. It's just unbelievable to see this kind of club to be relegated. A lot of fans must have broken their heart due to this incident.

In my opinion, I think Newcastle will become another Leeds - they will suffer from bankruptcy and had to sell a lot of players and even relegated again to lower division leagues. I think in this summer there will be quite a lot of transfers as Newcastle had a lot of "stocks" which most likely will not play in the lower division leagues such as Owen, Duff, Martins etc. And I doubt that Newcastle will have enough funds to pay for them after losing their main income source which came from EPL.

Goodbye, the Magpies!
