Dramalicious Part 2

Buddies, click here for videos if you are not interested to scroll down and read!

Alright, I know you guys have been longing for that, lets start part 2!

Friday, 10 April 2009. After so much of phenomenon on the previous day, we refused to wake up at 8 as planned and continued to hug the bed tightly. Lol. Nevertheless, we still had to wake up. We brushed, cleansed, bathed and ate before we start our rehearsal again. Well, we had to skip class to perfectise our drama. Kaki ponteng~ Before the practise, I managed to take some photos of the king of "keh leh feh" - Wai Ming. He actually used 6 different apparels for the drama! Lets see it below:

The Passenger Look
The Air Steward Look
The Tree Look
The Beggar Look

Finally, this time we could act much more natural. However, the time span was still too long, which lasted around 30 minutes for a drama which was supposed to be 20 minutes. Hahaha. Poor time management. After two (or three, somewhat forgotten) times of practising, finally we departed from our home to UTAR.

We reached the venue at around 12. Well its really troublesome to have so much of props to bring. Here are some of the props I took the day before:

The Ring
The Walkie-Talkie and The Bell
A Jewellery Shop Named Tokong? XD
The Banner for the Longest Scene of the Drama

When we reached, the first group - Kheng Kuan's group was just starting to prepare the set ups. Our group was the next one. As we used different parts of the class as stage, so we could set up some of the props first just like what they did as well. By the way, we also arranged the seats and they looked just like cinema! Lets just see it below:

See?
Looked Just Perfect. XD

Not long after that, it was 1! Uhm... It was so fast? Lol. However, I was fulled with confidence, as well as Yoong Yang (it's so obvious). Just start it man! XD While KK's group was performing, we walked away from the class and did a final practice. Then finally. Ta-da! It's our turn! Time to show off!

We were doing fine. But it was quite obvious that we were lack of practices, especially during changing scenes. Could you believe that we actually used 3++ of minutes for a transition from scene 1 to scene 2? Lol. And the most awful part was I forgot to bring along the cheque! Which was one of the funniest scenes in the drama. Aw... Anyway, it was still nice to see, just that some scenes looked somewhat "cold" compared to the others. Haha.

After our group, it was Jian Fung's group performing. Uhm... I'm kind of surprised of what they were presenting. Little action, but yet high quality of languages. It was quite demoralising for me. =.= I thought we were going to be the best. However their storyline was lack of central theme. Haha. The next two group? They had something to laugh too. Although they were not in the upper tier.

After five dramas that were performed that day, the time had came to announce the results - who would be qualified for the semi-finals. Ms Sharmini told us that we were too good to choose one to go and also advised us not to be too carried away by the results. Unfortunately, our group had failed. It was the group before us - which was KK's group who went through. Congrats to you all! Honestly, I felt much happier if we lost to them because they are the best gang of me in UTAR. Hahaha. But you all won because you were in front of our group! We were forced to change the same dialogue that you all used! =P

The semi-finals had interclass competition on the next day and KK's group managed to qualify for the finals! That's the way man! Won for us! XD

This is KK's drama (highlights)

Ta-da! Here's our drama! This is Part 1.

Here's part 2.

... And part 3! The End!
